Xmas: CCF donates food items worth over Ghc 100k to the needy
The sick and needy have been given a reason to celebrate Christmas as Crime Check Foundation (CCF) showers them with giveaways worth over Hundred Thousand Ghana cedis.
The money afforded over a hundred and twenty bags of rice, medium-sized-bottled cooking oil, and clothes that were given out to beneficiaries.
Some of the more than a hundred beneficiaries who came from the Greater Accra, Central, and Eastern Regions also received cash gifts.
The old, young, and weak converged at the premises of the Foundation to receive the gifts.
The gesture was to climax CCF’s yearly activities and also put smiles on the faces of struggling individuals during the yuletide.
Crime Check Foundation has been organizing Christmas parties for the needy since 2020, but this year’s event took a different turn.
Previous years had a feast thrown for the beneficiaries after which they were given freebies.
This year saw beneficiaries receive full bags of rice compared to other years where they were given kilos of bags of rice.
The beneficiaries expressed excitement to CCF donors who have contributed to making their Christmas memorable.
“God bless you for your generosity. We are grateful for the gifts that will make the Christmas memorable,” a beneficiary said as she shed tears of joy.
The yearly event is part of its campaign to alleviate poverty under its Charity Series programme.
Through programme, many struggling individuals receive support to expand their businesses, pay rent, and cater for their upkeep.
Crime Check Foundation continues its giveaways initiative in the streets of Accra into the New Year.
