Poverty Over 90-yr-old woman only wants to wear a printed wax cloth before her death

Crime Check Foundation’s (CCF) donation has caused a 90-year-old woman’s dream come true.

The aged woman only wanted to wear an original wax print before she dies.

CCF during its door-to-door donation, at a village in Winneba, Ponko Etsi, and other deprived communities, surprised the bedridden woman with a piece of original wax print and an undisclosed amount of money kind courtesy, of a Holland-based donor, Linda Owusu. This brought her wish into reality.

Overwhelmed by the gift she said, “God bless CCF and the donor for this gift. My prayer was to wear a wax print before I die. I will sew it and wear it before my death.”

Apart from her, the youth and other aged persons, including widows also benefited from the gesture. They received their share of pieces of wax prints and cash gifts to commemorate the birthday of Linda Owusu.

The beneficiaries thanked the Foundation and the donors whiles others offered prayers for them. “We never expected this. May you flourish in your endeavors. Miss Linda Owusu, May God grant you long life and prosperity for coming to our aid. We thank you very much.” They said.

The Executive Director of CCF, Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng urged the public who are able to make ends meet to be thankful to God. He encouraged them to offer a helping hand to others struggling to find their feet in life.

“You could see endemic poverty and the struggles others go through so if you live comfortably, then you have to be grateful for the opportunity. You have to help others in need to attract blessings for God.” He said.

Mr. Kwarteng entreated the public to support CCF’s programmes geared towards helping the poor and the needy in society.

The Village Charity Series

The Foundation has been gone to the aid of several deprived communities in the Northern and Central regions with cash, food items, and clothing. It has also constructed boreholes for some of these communities and it is also helping to put up nurses quarters.
