My sister kicked me out and has stopped supporting me because she says I will die eventually – patient cries

A kidney patient has been evicted from home because her elderly sister claims she will die eventually.

23-year-old Naomi Dede Mensah had her organs failed in 2021 but struggled to get medical attention.

Her sister, Justina Dede has ceased providing her needs and eventually kicked her out of her room.

In 2022, Justina solicited support for Naomi because, together, they could not afford the cost of dialysis.

They reached out to Crime Check Foundation in 2022 for emergency support. Since then Naomi has been receiving assistance from CCF for payment of her hospital bills.

Her condition seems not to have improved and Justina appears fed up with keeping up with her little sister’s welfare.

“It started when my sister refused to talk to me and also stopped picking up my calls. But if I call her with an unknown number, she answers,” she said.

Her sister, Naomi claims she said she would lose her capital if she continued to take care of her because she was not going to survive the ailment, hence her vile action towards her.

“She said she cannot buy anything for me again else her business will collapse and she drove me out of her room,” she said as tears filled her eyes.

Orphaned Naomi finds shelter in a stranger’s home with CCF assisting her to get medical treatment.

Under its Health Check Series, the Foundation’s recent support to her was from a contribution of Ghc 500 from Canada-based group, Women Aglow.
