Kopormetey residents at Kasoa get free Breast cancer screening

Residents of Kpormetey, a suburb of Kasoa in the Central Region have expressed excitement over the absence of breast cancer cases among them.

Meena Breast Cancer Foundation (MBCF) conducted a breast screening exercise for the people of Kpormetey as fighting the disease intensifies.

More than a hundred residents participated in the exercise and all were found to be breast cancer free.

The residents thanked MBCF for the opportunity to ascertain their breast cancer status.

Kpormetey adds to more than ten communities that have benefited from the Foundation’s breast cancer sensitization and breast screening initiatives.

The Meena Breast Cancer Foundation sensitization and screening train continues to other communities. The next stop is Mpohor, a community in Takoradi in the Western Region on September 25 and 26 2024.
