CRIME CHECK FOUNDATION GOES TO THE AID OF THE PEOPLE OF GOMOA DAHOM
Crime Check Foundation (CCF) has assisted the people of Gomoa Dahom, a deprived community in the central region of Ghana with food items and clothing to help improve their living standards.
CCF with support from its donors made the donation as part of one of its social interventions, ‘The Village Charity Series’.
Preceding the donation, the Executive Director of CCF, Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng, wooed other individuals and organizations who are in the position to offer a helping hand to emulate the gesture by the Foundation to help eradicate poverty in rural areas. He described the poverty level in Ghana as unfortunate while making a passionate appeal to government to rollout more interventions to ease the difficulties of citizens.
“We identify deprived villages and assist them in various ways such as giving them clothing and food items and sometimes some amount of money to help ease their hardship. We heard about the plight of the locals of Gomoa Dahom, together with our donors we decided to assist them with food items and clothing. We urge other organizations to also emulate what we do,” he said.
Speaking to our reporter, Emelia Agyeibea Yeboah, a local of Gomoa Dahom, Fosu Richard expressed his sincere gratitude to CCF and its donors and spoke on how the donations they received was going to alleviate their difficulties.
“I am so grateful to CCF and its donors for these items. I ask for God’s blessing for CCF and anybody who assisted them to make this donation possible,” he said.
Other residents also expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the support.
“We are deeply touched by this donation. We did not expect this donation but it has come at the right time. We sincerely appreciate this gesture. God bless CCF and its partners across the world”, they said.
