Breast Cancer: 4 suspected cases recorded at Real AMASS as MBCF visits first school in A/R
Meena Breast Cancer Foundation (MBCF) aims to save four students of T.I Ahmadiyya Senior High School, Kumasi during its first visit to the Ashanti Region.
During a breast screening exercise, the affected students were identified as exhibiting some signs of breast cancer including strange breast discharges and lumps.
MBCF officers urged the affected persons to seek proper medical advice to ascertain their status of the disease.
With an engagement with the Headmaster of the school, Mr. Abdullah Ayyub urged the School Counselor to immediately contact the parents of the affected wards to deliberate on getting them care.
The Meena Breast Cancer Foundation team also gave the affected students referral notes to seek further medical diagnostics.
The screening preceded an education on breast cancer with a documentary to set the tone for an engaging sensitization on the disease with hundreds of students who tuned up for the programme held in the school.
