The doctors advised that she take her to Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital for further treatment.
The 21year old girl said she refused to bring the child to Korle-Bu in Accra because of financial difficulties but she was later helped by the doctors in Mankessim to transport the child to Accra.
She said the baby has been on life support since they came to Korle- Bu and she has been asked to buy some drugs for the child but she has no money to do so. She said she has also been asked to pay a deposit of two thousand Ghana cedis for treatment to commence.
