Please help save my life-Lady fighting fibroid cries
A 28-year-old lady, Linda Botwe has been asking for support to undergo surgery to remove a lump of fibroid that is gradually taking her life.
Interacting with a reporter from Crime Check Foundation (CCF), she said she was thrown out of business after spending her capital on initial diagnoses of the disease.
This was when the reporter caught up with Ms. Botwe at the Arts Centre in Accra as part of the Foundation’s Health Check Series.
She said she was also thrown out of the wooden kiosk she lived in when she could no longer afford a weekly Forty Ghana cedis rent at the Arts Centre in Accra.
“I sleep in front of a chapel. When it rains at night, I would have to stand till the rain ceases. I started my noodle cooking business with two hundred and fifty Ghana cedis but it has collapsed.
“I beg to be able to feed myself since my business collapsed and I was evicted from the wooden kiosk I slept in. Life has been tender with me,” she said.
Ms. Botwe said her impaired condition compelled her to reach CCF to seek support.
She appealed to the general public to support her to seek medical attention.
“I have never had joy in my life. I cannot bear it any longer. That is why I called you to help me. I am going through pains so I am pleading with you to come to my aid,” she cried.
