CCF supports Chorkor residents during Christmas

Residents of Chorkor, a deprived community in the Greater Accra region celebrated Christmas with an explosion of joy as Crime Check Foundation (CCF) surprised them with food items.

The items included bags of rice, bottles of cooking oil, and tins of sardine.

The gesture was made possible with the support of CCF donors home and abroad.

The excited residents, old and young poured out their heart of gratitude on the Foundation and the donors for their thoughtfulness.

“God bless you for thinking about us. May you never lack but prosper in your endeavors,” they chanted.

The Executive Director of CCF, Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng encouraged donors to continue to give to the poor and the less privileged in society, as they will be blessed beyond measure. He also urged the general public to also join the list of donors so that the support would be extended to other deprived communities.

“We have donors who have the spirit of giving and it is through their contributions we are able to go to the aid of the people of Chorkor. May God bless them. I would want to entreat others who are yet to join the donors not to hesitate so that your descendants would benefit from the blessings from your contribution to support poor people,” he admonished.

Crime Check Foundation also threw a huge party for its beneficiaries and other poor and less privileged individuals amid the sharing of gifts. The items included, bags of rice, bottles of cooking oil, pieces of wax prints, sachets of tomato paste, and cash.

Whilst they feasted and made merry, some beneficiaries of the Foundation’s project took turns to share their story and how CCF offered them a helping hand.

CCF has been organizing the event annually since 2019. The Foundation aims at easing the financial burden of poor persons through sustainable support.
