Narrating her ordeal in an interview with crimecheckghana, Akua Afriyie said ‘I live with my old sick mother and it has not been easy sharing a room with her and my kids.
The Foundation through the help of its donors responded to Akua’s plead and gave her a mobile phone and an amount of GHC2500 as money to cover her accommodation and other expenses while waiting for her business to yield some profits.
Presenting the money to her, the Executive Director of CCF, Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng admonished Akua to be diligent and tactful in her business to sustain it.
